Lanemark InternationalBy distinguishing between industrial process gas heating, petrochemical processing and after-sales service and support, the company has dedicated its resources to delivering the best service in each area.  The process burners are sold through a network of 14 agents worldwide, specialising in liquid heating requirements and process oven burners.  Another division, International Combustion, specialises in meeting process-heating requirements in the global hydrocarbon processing markets.  A team of field-based engineers carry out both scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs to Lanemark’s clients.  This service is provided by both directly employed engineers and approved third party engineers.

Lanemark had been using a combination of a piecemeal packaged software solutions and in-house developed database applications to support their business.  There was little or no automation of the business services and this created a heavy reliance on paperwork based systems and re-entry / duplication of data in the accounts systems.  It was recognised there was a need for an integrated business solution that would extend across the company and provide the management with all the relevant information required to drive the business forward.

Having used the services of an independent consultant, a specification document was produced that described the business needs and three potential software packages were selected – Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Great Plains and SAP Business One.

Having evaluated the various solutions and undertaken a thorough selection process that included on-site demonstrations, Lanemark International selected In2grate Business Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

The new solution is allowing the Company to meet key business objectives, providing access to information across the whole business including the team of mobile engineers.  The software now handles the accounting and invoicing functions, order processing, manufacturing and service ordering.  This will enable Lanemark to be at the forefront of its sector and promote further expansion of its UK and the international customer base.
