The patented ‘Thermimax’ gas burner head is at the heart of Lanemark's success. It has a number of unique properties and enables the gas consumption and controllability of each burner installation to be optimised. Lanemark designs, manufactures, distributes and services its complete range of products, making for a complex business operation. The process burners are sold through a network of agents worldwide, specialising in liquid heating requirements and process oven burners. Another division, International Combustion, specialises in meeting processheating requirements in the global hydrocarbon processing markets. A team of field-based engineers carry out both scheduled maintenance andemergency breakdown repairs to Lanemark’s clients. This service is provided by both directly employed engineers and approved third party engineers.
Lanemark had been using a combination of a piecemeal packaged software solutions and in-house developed database applications to support their business. There was little or no automation of the business services and this created a heavy reliance on paperwork based systems with re-entry and duplication of data in the accounts systems. It was recognised that there was a need for an integrated business solution that extended across the company and provide the management with the relevant information required to drive the business forward.
Having used the services of an independent consultant, a specification document was produced that described the business needs and three potential software packages were selected and after a thorough evaluation and selection process that included on-site demonstrations, Lanemark International selected In2grate Business Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

The system now handles the accounting and invoicing functions, order processing, manufacturing and service ordering. This enables Lanemark to be at the forefront of its sector and promote further expansion of its UK and the international customer base.
